EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requires companies to ensure that specific commodities and derived products placed on the EU market are deforestation-free, legally produced, and accompanied by verified due diligence.
This includes commodities such as:
- Soy
- Palm oil
- Wood
- Cocoa
- Coffee
- Rubber
- Cattle
From December 30, 2025, operators and traders within and outside the EU must prove that their supply chains do not contribute to deforestation or forest degradation anywhere in the world.
